Offering a mind-body-spirit approach to workplace coaching and staff personal development
I’m Patricia Bonnard, PhD, ICF/ACC
Mind-Body-Spirit Approach to Workplace Coaching
My coaching practice is a bit different than the standard leadership coaching found in most of corporate America.
I work with clients on typical workplace issues, asking plenty of powerful questions to encourage reflection and elicit fresh insights just like other coaches do. However, I combine this process many less traditional approaches, practices, and tools such as:
- Somatic or embodied practices to engage with your body-mind;
- Understanding, listening to, and working with emotions;
- Working with metaphors and imagination;
- Meditation and breathwork;
- Grounding, clearing, and centering practices; and
- Various energy healing modalities
Throughout the coaching process, I share my practical and theoretic knowledge of this mind-body-spirit approach and the tools underlying the coaching process.
My intention is for whoever I work with to not just solve a problem, but rather, become a better more confident problem solver. And, they do this in part by applying their whole self to whatever is before them.
Who I Work With
The people I work with are curious and open-minded. They’re willing to step out of their comfort zone and try new things and new approaches such as those of my mind-body-spirit approach. In this way, they reflect on, work with, and develop the whole person.
Moreover, they’re committed and take responsibility for their advancement. They have the humility and willpower to confront their issues, move past an impasse, and bring about change.
In addition to working with individuals, I offer workshops for small-sized groups where I conduct training related to the practices and tools I use in my mind-body-spirit coaching process. I also customize workshops on most of the coaching and personal growth topics I’m familiar with and use.
By working in groups, a greater portion of your staff can access assistance, resolve some of their personal challenges, and improve their capacities.
