Getting In Touch With the Inside
Getting In Touch With the Inside
We all are constantly listening to the chatter of our thinking minds. But, the body talks to us too. This Getting In Touch With the Inside guided meditation introduces the listener to the body-mind. The listener is guided to sense into the body and begin to access the quiet, and even subconscious messages, from the body.
The meditation is designed for those new to sensing within the body: inside. It uses breath work and muscle tensing to help the listener attune to sensations and changes within the body.
This introductory guided meditation helps create awareness of the most accessible sensations in the body.
A second guided meditation, Tapping Into the Inside, advances embodied awareness and practice. It helps tap into a subtler level of inner experience.
The meditation is approximately 10 minutes long.
Getting Into Theta
Getting Into Theta
This Getting Into Theta meditation takes the listener into Theta - a state characterized by theta brainwaves; the brain's natural state when a person is deep in meditation, daydreaming, imagining, engaging in some forms of inner-body awareness, working with the subconscious or boosting the manifestation of intentions.
The meditation does not use hypnosis. The listener is guided into Theta and then deep Theta.
When the guiding ends, the music continues for approximately three or four minutes giving the listener time to enjoy or use the Theta state. (Approximately twelve minutes long.)
Taming the Monkey
Taming the Monkey
This Taming the Monkey meditation and podcast is a two-part recording.
The first part explains the concept of the Monkey Mind (restless, anxious thinking) and how to tame it. It goes through a series of dos and don'ts related to pre-bedtime behaviors and explains three relaxation meditation techniques included in part two. Part one is informative and part two is strictly guided meditations.
Part two leads the listener through the three relaxation techniques: breath work, progressive muscle relaxation, and visualization.
The recordings are separated from the informational portion so that the mediations can be listened to repeatedly without having to listen or skip through the information and explanations each time.
(Part One is approximately 12 minutes long and Part Two is approximately 15 minutes long: 8 minutes of guided meditation and 7 additional minutes of relaxing music to accompany you into further self-guided visualization if you like
